Real Estate has been on constant rotation here at Drift since the illustrious Courtney Hawkes put a track from their self-titled debut on our first Playlist. Now, the awesomeness increases to Freakout levels with this video of Real Estate (as in the band) playing in a real estate (as in the type of commerce) office. Add a grip of Italian food and you’ve got yourself a bona fide Friday.

Yassine, better known in the surf world as Yazzy, is well known for his photos of the lesser known and often colder corners of the wave riding kingdom. Tomorrow night, he shifts his focus from the sea to the land for “Thawscapes: visions of global warming.”

I’ve been geeking out/freaking out about Kelsey Brookes’ art since sometime last fall, so I was stoked to see him featured in this video from filmmaker Gavin Lewis Heslet of The Creative Lives.

This video takes a while to get to the point–yes, it is worth it and, no, we’re not going to give you a photo that gives away any hints as to what it’s about. It involves an incredible craftsman named “Natty Shred” (!) and some sidewalk surfing, that’s all you get…
