drift, perspectives in surfing

There always is a reason, there has to be. It all happened awhile back. I got in a warp of watching mainly older surf videos and older surfers. I’m pretty sure it had to do with the fact of looking up to the generation which precedes your own. It’s always nice to know where you came from. For years, “Searching for Tom Curren” never really left the VHS player.

Sad but true, however much we may love surfing there are those unfortunate elements associated with the sport which can make us cringe. Simply stated more so the commercialism of the sport.
